Overview
We're looking for a .NET developer with several years development experience to support in the delivery of web applications through a Software-as-a-Service model using some of the latest available technologies (.NET 3.5, SQL 2005, AJAX, C#).
Must have/required skills:
- .Net Framework: Strong ability required. Minimum of 2 years experience required.
- .Net (3.5) Web Development: Strong ability required. Minimum of 2 years experience required.
- General Web Development: Minimum of 3 years experience required.
- Internet Information Server (IIS): Working knowledge required. Ability to configure web sites, virtual directories and application pools essential.Minimum 3 months experience.
- Windows Services & Event Viewer: Working knowledge required.
- SQL Server (2005) specific skills:
- Table configuration and optimization (indexes, triggers, keys)
- Transact SQL
Nice to have/optional skills:
- AJAX: Strongly advantageous but not absolutely essential.
- JAVASCRIPT: Advantageous but not required. Experience in C# or Java probably adequate as a starting point to learn from
- .Net Windows Service Development: Some experience would be an advantage.
- Good general knowledge of Windows Server administration is an advantage but not essential.
- Domain Name Service (DNS): Advantageous but not required.
- SQL Server specific skills:
- Database maintenance (database creation, backup, SQL Server Agent)
- Data Transformation Services
Remuneration
